1. Register for your free Digital Passport.
Your Digital Passport is your guide to participating museums, public art, sculpture gardens, restaurants, shops, and cultural destinations, along with special offers and instructions for redeeming them.

2. Choose where you want to go.
There’s no set route or schedule. Pick the destinations and offers that interest you and visit whenever it works for you. Offers are available throughout the campaign, including weekdays and weekends, August 21–October 4, 2026.

3. Explore and enjoy!
Show your Digital Passport or follow the redemption instructions provided by each participating partner to take advantage of special offers.

Staying overnight? You can stay at any Milwaukee hotel. You do not have to stay at Saint Kate to participate. Saint Kate is a participating partner and offers a special Milwaukee Art Escape overnight package with a $25 food & beverage credit.

Not exactly! Milwaukee Art Escape is a citywide cultural experience, not a scheduled tour or a set route.

No! You do not need to stay at Saint Kate, or any hotel, to participate in Milwaukee Art Escape. You can visit Milwaukee for the day, stay overnight at any hotel, or simply explore the city as a local.

Saint Kate is one of our participating partners and offers a special $25 food & beverage credit to guests who book the Milwaukee Art Escape overnight package. But staying at Saint Kate is not required to take advantage of the many other Milwaukee Art Escape offers throughout the city.

Yes! Saint Kate's galleries are free and open to the public.

Not at all! Milwaukee Art Escape is designed to be flexible. Choose the destinations and experiences that interest you most, or follow one of our suggested itineraries.

No. Milwaukee Art Escape is a limited-time campaign running August 21 through October 6, 2026. Many offers are only available during these dates.

Each participating organization has its own redemption process. Some offers require a promo code, while others may ask you to present your digital passport, booking confirmation, or mention Milwaukee Art Escape when you arrive. Details are listed with each promotion.

Yes! While some offers are exclusive to overnight guests at Saint Kate, most participating museums, galleries, public art installations, tours, and promotions are available to day visitors as well.

Most visitors enjoy Milwaukee Art Escape as a two- or three-day weekend getaway, but one-day itineraries are also available.

Many downtown destinations, including Sculpture Milwaukee, Saint Kate, the Milwaukee Art Museum, Historic Milwaukee, and Urban Milwaukee: the store, are within walking distance.

Other destinations, such as Lynden Sculpture Garden, Villa Terrace, and Charles Allis Art Museum are a short drive from downtown.

No. Milwaukee Art Escape is a citywide campaign, not a single event or event series. It brings together special discounts and promotions from participating museums, cultural destinations, restaurants, shops, sculpture gardens, and more.

There’s no event schedule, required itinerary, or set route to follow. Choose the places and offers that interest you, visit when it works for you, and participate any day of the week during the campaign, August 21–October 6.

Participating organizations may also have their own events and programs happening during the campaign. These are separate from Milwaukee Art Escape, but you’re welcome to include them in your plans. Check individual partner websites for their current event calendars and schedules.
